Greetings! I’m Black. My name is Kevin. I’m a guy who loves to create character builds from all my favorite media, as well as homebrew feats, (sub)classes, items, and species. I may also pick up a pencil and pad and start drawing again, as my wife continues to encourage me to get back into an art form I used to be good at.
What you will find here
I have a (very) good understanding of how character creation in D&D 5e works, including a great understanding of all of the official classes, subclasses, species, items, and feats. I love making multiclass characters, especially ones that fit the spirit of the character as they would be in the source material, including abilities, skills, and special moves that they would use.
Initially, I had broken up each of my build posts as follows:
- Intentions – what that character role is in the party.
- Overview – stats, lineage, proficiencies, and items that my be useful for the character.
- Breakdown – a tl:dr of how to character is planned out.
- Advancement – level progression and reasoning.
- Spells – for spellcasters, which spells fit the build at each advancement.
- Techniques – how to use the characters’ abilities, skills and they would translate as special moves.
However, now I’m giving a more succinct synopsis of the character including levels, background, species, stats, feats, items, and abilities.
